    How the Tomorrow-o-meter works

Getting money by tomorrow is less about luck and more about lining up five things: time, security, paperwork, purpose and credit. The Tomorrow-o-meter weighs each one the way a lender's assessor would when an urgent file lands on their desk, then shows you where you stand. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing is saved or sent.

    1. Time left today

The countdown shows how much of today is left. An enquiry made in the morning has room for a call, a document request and a signature before close of business. Late at night? Do the 60-second enquiry anyway — it puts you at the front of tomorrow's queue.

    2. Property security

For business borrowers, property is the biggest accelerator there is. With residential or commercial property behind the loan, $20k to $250k is possible the same day and up to $5m is possible within 24–48 hours. Not sure how much equity you have? A recent rates notice and your latest mortgage statement are enough to start the conversation. Read more in borrowing against your home equity fast.

    3. Documents

Missing paperwork is the single most common reason a "fast" loan turns into a slow one. Bank statements, ID and property details cover most urgent applications. Our document dash walks you through where to download each one in minutes.

    4. Purpose

Trading businesses have more fast options — unsecured, cash-flow and line-of-credit products typically from $5,000 to $500,000, sized on turnover and bank statements, with same-day funding possible for smaller amounts. Personal needs are looked at case by case, and the speed depends on the lender and your situation.

    5. Credit picture

Bad credit and ATO debt aren't automatic deal-breakers; they're considered case by case. What slows things down is a surprise. If there's a default or a tax debt, say so up front on the form and the right person can plan around it.

    Tomorrow-o-meter FAQ

What does the Tomorrow-o-meter actually measure?

It scores the things that decide whether money can realistically move by tomorrow: the time you have left today, whether there's property to secure the loan, how ready your documents are, whether it's for a trading business and how clean your credit picture is. It then turns that into a speed score, a countdown and a to-do list.

Is a high score an approval?

No. It's a readiness check, not a credit decision or an offer. A real person still needs to look at your situation. What a high score does mean is that the usual speed bumps are already out of the way.

Does using the tool affect my credit file?

No. Nothing you enter here is stored or sent anywhere, and there's no credit check when you first enquire through the form either.

Why does owning property make it faster?

Security changes the maths for a lender. With property behind a business loan, $20k to $250k is possible the same day and up to $5m possible within 24–48 hours, because the lender is relying on the asset as well as your paperwork.

My score is low. Should I still enquire?

Yes. A low score usually means 'a few things to sort', not 'no'. The to-do list shows exactly what's slowing you down, and a person can often find a route you didn't know existed.

Why does the time of day matter?

Business days have a rhythm. An enquiry made early leaves time for a call, documents and sign-off before close of business. A late-night enquiry is still worth doing — it puts you first in the queue in the morning.
